  • Graduate School: Boston University

I have finally decided that I want to attend Boston University for my graduate program. Located in the heart of Massachusetts, I'm actually pretty excited.

I'm currently majoring in Kinesiology and my goal is to become a physical therapist.

At first, I wanted to get into the masters program before getting into the doctorate because it seems like it was the way to go. Fortunately, I did some research and found out that Boston University offers a three-years doctorate physical therapy program. So, I e-mailed the school and asked how I can get into the program.

The counselor replied and told me that I can get into the doctorate program as long I have completed my pre-requisites. She said it did not matter on what I have majored in before, therefore stating that it did not have to be science classes. From what I understand, I can apply for the program as long as I have completed science courses prior to the doctorate program. Does that mean that I don't have to complete a master program before my doctorate? I believe so. I e-mailed her back to confirm it. Still haven't heard anything, but I will find out soon.

When I was younger, I remember that as long I have my bachelors, I will be satisfied. I don't think that's enough anymore, I will be satisfied with a doctorate. I have never thought about a doctorate degree until I was almost a 4th year in college.

Someone said to me once, "I want the name Dr. in front of my name because it has a nice ring to it."

I thought about Dr. in front of my name and it didn't seem to have a nice ring to it... until now. If I get into the program in the next 2 years, and complete it in 3 years. In about 5 years, I will be Dr. Leung.

Whoa, it seems unbelievable... but it does have a nice ring to it.

Future Doctor in the making.. is outta here. Ciao.

  • Is the Economy bad?

You know what trips me out? A friend of mines.

He flew out to California for a vacation. I found out that he has a job that pays him really well. So, he rented a mustang, stayed in a nice hotel, and shopped almost everyday that he was here. That's great for him! Really! But, deep down inside.... I was pretty jealous... because we are the same age.

I am "employed" by the university's bookstore, but because of the budget cuts.. they cut our hours to minimum to nothing.

Now I am officially broke. No job. Just school. AND it's driving me nuts!

I had several job interviews in the last couple of months, but no luck. You know why? I don't think I have enough experience. I've only had ONE odd job while my sister had 3 or 4. She recently got hired at a retail store, so congrats! :)

I really wish I can find a good paying job though. I really don't think our economy is going down... there's a lot of places that's hiring, especially for the upcoming Christmas season. So where can I start?

  • I Love You, Dad.

    Happy 53rd birthday, daddy!

So, it's his birthday today. He wanted to spend his birthday at Disneyland/California Adventure. HAHA. He's already there with my mom and my aunt (dad's sister). My aunt's birthday is actually tomorrow, so they had her tag along to celebrate her birthday also.

I gave him a birthday card because I did not know what to get him for his birthday. Throughout today, my dad has been sending me the most random texts while I was at work. They make me laughed out loud x] Enjoy!

Daddy [9:10 AM]: "Your b-day card 4 me it's very nice of you. It's very sweet like icy cream. I love it. Thanks again. Dad"

Daddy [2:101 PM]: "Are you home yet?"
    Me [2:12 PM]: "Almost"
Daddy [2:13 PM]: "Do me a favor. Please turn off my computer. Thanks."
    Me [2:14 PM]: "Ok"
    Daddy [2:15 PM]: "Macho gracias"
Me [2:18 PM]: "Hahaha. You mean mucho gracias"
Daddy [2:18 PM]: "You right. I'm testing you."

Daddy [2:39 PM]: "We were riding on Hollywood tower goast. The eleator drop down so fast. It's so scary. Mom and cu ma almost pee all over the seat."

  • Awesome Birthday Weekend

    Hey everyone!

I've recently just had my 21st birthday passed. I'll be honest, it was amazing. I didn't want the weekend to be over so quickly.

No, I didn't go out and drink like most 21-year-olds. Then again, I'm not like most people. =]

In fact, I spent my day with the most amazing friends and boyfriend at Disneyland and California Adventure. I've uploaded a few videos of us goofing around. It's actually on my Myspace. So feel free to go check it out.

Watch it, rate it, and if you want, leave me a comment. :)

On the last note, be sure to spend today with your daddy. I know I will be. Happy Father's Day to all of the lucky dads in the world! =]

    Love always,
    Jess

  • Summer is coming! I seriously can't wait ^_^ Finals is in two weeks. I'll be done soon. *yesss*

Then I'm going to work, vacation, work, vacation, work. No summer school this year because of the budget cuts and being a junior, all my classes are already closed. Dang it!!!

Soo... These are my plans for the summer:

In May, it's about to start, but that someone in particular is moving out here in about.. 2-3 weeks. =]
In June, I'm going to Disneyland with a few friends of mines for our birthdays. Clubbing, of course. Sleepover. Not sure what else to do.. except something wild, perhaps some more piercings?!?! Haha
In July, I've already planned a trip to Las Vegas. Oh heck yes. Just to go and experience for being a 21-year-old. I'm not a big fan of gambling though, so I'm just going for the buffets, the drinks, the clubs, and the show. oOoOo ;]
In August, it's official that I'm going out to Rhode Island and New York. I've already got the plane tickets and a place to stay. Double heck yessss.

I am also planning to remodel my room this summer. It's always been white with BARNEY curtains. I've had them for YEARS. You would think it's embarassing, but I'm not embarassed. I'm actually quite proud that I still have Barney curtains. My college friends laughs at it because they get a crack out of it and I personally don't mind at all. Hahaha.

I want a theme of green, light-brown, silver, and white. What do you think of those colors combination
